IT department ties up with Netsmartz India for training

Department of Information Technology through Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh (SPIC) entered into an agreement with Netsmartz India, Mohali, to jointly establish, maintain and operate an e-learning curriculum carrying out training programmes via Internet or CDs. Netsmartz India will use its own training delivery methodology in consultation with SPIC.
Netsmartz India will be an authorised provider of online, Internet, CD, and electronic training to students undergoing the Chandigarh Training on Soft Skills Programme (C-TOSS) in city and the region. This agreement will help SPIC to take its C-TOSS training programme to higher level and help those students who do not have the training agreement in their colleges.
The C-TOSS programme has eight modules which includes Voice and Accent Training, Communication Skills 1&2, Customer Service, Telesales, Global Culture, Soft Skills and Computer Proficiency.
This programme is already running successfully in the schools & colleges of Chandigarh, besides SPIC is also running this programme in colleges and schools of Haryana under an agreement with the Education Department of Haryana.
